leslie and i have our daily rendevous now on msn. well, i guess we always did talk on msn. but as our lives diverge east and west, we are trying hard to make this relationship work. i keep her sane and grounded with kindness and understanding, she allows me to live vicariously through her corporate madness and men that line up to buy her drinks (no, i did not move to the wrong city. i tell myself this everyday).
L: what time is it
M: 1:11am
L: i can never remember the time diff
L: that's not too bad
M: so see, i can talk to you when you're at work, if i'm at home in the evenings
M: that's probably the real reason why i got fired, msning at work with people in vancouver...
L: I NEED TO STOP BITING MY NAILS
L: yep, i love it, be home!
M: i've been walking around in my underwear
L: good, freedom is good
L: freedom of dress
L: i love being naked at home
L: so my curtains are always closed and i don't get sun
L: i guess it's not that good
M: or you can open up the curtains
L: right
M: it's only considered freedom of dress when your attire or lack thereof is inflicted upon others
M: freedom of dress when no one else is around does not qualify
L: thank you
L: for giving this some thoughts
M: i take everything you say very seriously
*as opposed to walking around naked, which i think makes one vulnerable under any circumstances, walking around in underwear is a very sexy and liberating thing to do, and can only happen when you do not live with your father (which applies also to walking around naked).
