i'm home. i believe i just about broke the record for hong kong tourism, because no one, NO ONE, travels to HK for no definite professional purpose for 9 days. that's enough days to travel to and get a good look at, say, egypt. i can't say i'm particularly refreshed, but i felt these last 9 days have been a mini roller-coaster cycle of what i'd been through for the past four months, and i've arrived at a place of calm and a sense of enlightenment that's very very close to refreshing. almost hopeful.
i couldn't have done it without you:
annie: for your wisdom and positive energy, for telling me that i'm a mosquito (or fly?) who will eventually find a way to the other side of the glass where the view is, thank you. you've given me so much strength and conviction in 9 days, the big push i needed to get over that hill. you're a beautiful, beautiful friend. koko: i'm not done with you.
hen8: for being available 24/7 like them 0204 chicks. we'll play some serious wii.
D: for being such a cool guy, and sometimes almost like an older brother. i'm proud of you! m-o-n-e-y is a five letter word. bring it home to mimi.
dad & mom (and grandma) though you don't read this: i'm finding my way. thanks for showing me the direction with minimal talking and tolerance for the many things i probably can do better. i am who i am because of you and many will agree that's pretty damn good. you're the awesomest.
