an alarming and practical question sprang to mind as Les and i discussed life's big questions over tea and mille feuille--> how would my friends all over the world be notified in case of my sudden death? and how would my loved ones access my email accounts, friendster, facebook, and blog in the tragic and unexpected event of my demise?

i suppose it's time to compile a list of friends' email addresses for mother to keep, and hide a piece of paper containing passwords to email/friendster/facebook/blog in a place that will surely be looked into if i no longer exist physically.

imagine what facebook would say:

Status Updates see all
Monica is dead. No, really.
5 hours ago edit
show friend updates

and on friendster i'd shout out "ciao i'm checking out early!" and i guess someone ought to officially close this blog. and then my family would go into my email and read every love/hate letter i've written and received, find out about all the internet purchases i've made, and secret societies i subscribe to.

so this is my project for this coming week. live and die responsibly in the internet age.
