2007 was the year of death for me. it was the beginning and ending and the re-beginning of many many things in life. it was a year of trial and error, of testing out my convictions, and of welcoming and letting go. it was also a year of love--to and from family, old friends, new friends, people i barely knew who have grown so close to my heart.
many say it's been a turbulent year for me. perhaps it has. but now i've arrived at a place of calm, and it's all good.
to you who have been reading, thanks for all your comments and/or support you've given me in your own ways. thanks for being caring friends, wherever in the world you are. happy new year!
p.s. my girls in taipei/hong kong/shanghai/boston/london/paris: you've been the most amazing group of women. i am so proud of what you've achieved this year. we've grown up so much together and now at our respective turning points, may we go on with grace, courage and lots of laughter. i luv u!!!
