thanksgiving (US) is not here for another 13 days, but tonight i am thankful that the people i love and care about are blessed with hope and optimism (most anyway), and that they see goodness and light in people. i am thankful that some of them, despite having lived through very difficult times, have stayed so true and strong. i am thankful that they see the glass half-full, and have an unfailing belief that everything will be ok. i am thankful that they are kind and giving, and able to think of others. i am thankful that they are open-minded and constantly reflecting.

because it really sucks when you meet someone who's not/doesn't do any of the above. GRRRRRRR.
